 The necklace ' Homesick ' tells the story of cicada shells that have returned to their roots. In order to possess life, cicadas have to fly away fro`m the comfort zone beside trees' roots underground, leaving behind its discarded shell. The shells represent life's weakness and the desire for comfort. These shells are gathered again and remind us of the comfortable past, becoming vague memories of Homesick tangled in the roots.

The material is entirely made of sterling silver and is crafted using the technique of surfiding.
