◾ The Last Scent ◾

 One of the Incense Burner series 'Last Scent' is a work that images remnants of the scents left after lives have burned and departed. By collecting cicada shells, one of the elements of 'Last Scent' by nature, and casting them into bronze, 'Last Scent' is pieced together to represent the moment when the seedpod of a plant swells and bursts. Finally, as the incense burns inside the burner, the aroma of the incense itself fills the gaps between the cicada shells, leaving residues of another 'Last Scent .

The base material is bronze, with small amount of silver and gold used to form leaf as well. In addition, if you purchase the artwork, four plates made of processed brass as seen in the photos will be included, one for each item, and shipped together.
